Day 147 – Hole in the Rock

Olympus EM10 Mark IV @ ISO 200, 14 mm, f4, 1/1000 s

Who remembers Hole in the Wall and if you don’t check it out on YouTube. It is a great show about fitting in holes to avoid getting wet. In this case the photo that I took was of one in the rock. This day we went to Venice Beach. It was super cool to see black/grey sand and a rocky cropping which lead to splashes constantly. One such rock had a pretty clean cut hole so I took my camera and put it up close and snapped a photo. The focus and composition was spot on and so during editing all I did was a bit of color changes and a cropping. Overall it turned out really well and I hope you all will enjoy it.
