Day 47 – A Worn Down Path

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 54 mm (1x)

Another day another photo. I bring to you all another photo that I took on my walk. In this photo I wanted to envision the grandiose of the trail upon which I am walking through. One thing that really amazed me about trails is the fact we walk along a path clear of trees but on the sides there sits a wall of trees giving an entrance into nature. In this photo I flipped my phone upside down and put it on the ground so that my lens are as close enough to the ground. I then used the grid lines in the camera app to level and line up the photo as well as I could. I set it up so that more then 2/3 of the actual photo was the forest and the sky. The initial photo came out really well and there was little transformation needed. In post I actually brightened most of the photo. The highlights on the other hand where toned down as it was blowing out the sky that could be seen through the foliage. For the colors, I made the greens in the leafs more vibrant and a lighter green. For the ground most of it was under the yellow color channel so I made it more orange to blend in with the ground and to make the path pop. That was about it for the edits.

Thank you all for reading today’s post I hope you all have a wonderful day.
