Back we day 46 and I have another photo for you all. Today’s photo is also from my hike yesterday. While hiking I saw this object what I assumed to be a well along the path. It was slightly off the path and I did not realize the ideal shot until I walked bath along the trail. I noticed if I changed my angle I would get a shot where the well laid between the opening that the trail was in. I got down low and tried to make the well the central of the image. I underexposed the photo by 1 stop which allowed me to create a mood which I went with in pixlemator. In pixlemator I lowered the highlights to avoid the blown out lights. On top of that I increased the shadows. I wanted to make the woods more mystical while also creating a dramatic peice of imagery. From that I moved on to modifying the colors. I increased the saturation and vi ranch to make the contrast larger. After that I worked on the color channels especially the red and the greens. For the red I shifted the colors in the photo to make it more red and then I increased the vibrancy. I did the same for the green to make the foliage seem more pleasing. Lastly I added a vignette to the photo drama. Overall I felt the more intensive edits gave a pleasing photo. I will see you all tomorrow.
