It is day 26 and I have another photo for you all. Today was a photo which I took around 5:20 pm while I was waiting for my bus. I used GCAM to take a photo on the 3 times zoom lens. I framed it so that the tree would slightly obscure. I also wanted to line up the building in the center to put more focus on the Petit building. The photo was taken at ISO 50, at f 2.4, and a shutter speed of 1/857 second. Now the big thing that I would like to note is that the camera has a resolution of 8 megapixel. I feel that is pretty low but it works out pretty well.
Now for the editing I moved the photo into Pixelmator and started by lowering the exposure while increasing the shadow slightly. I modified some of the other settings in the light field to increase the overall contrast. I then modified the colors to make the oranges more red and the sky a bit more vivid. After all these color edits I turned on the black and white mode which allowed me to change the values of the color channels. I increased the red slightly and decreased the greens and blue so that they would be darker. My goal was to add as much contrast as I can with out blowing out the image. Finally I added some grain to the film like.
Thank you for reading todays blog. I will see you later.
