Day 24 – The Mailbox

Olympus E-M10 Mark ii. Olympus 14-42 F3.5-5.6 ii R

It is day 24 and I am back with another photo I have taken in Atlanta. A while back I found this mailbox that just sat there with a pretty empty close background however there is still parts of the city in the far ground. I also enjoyed that sometimes car would appear on the road giving a sense of movement in something that usually is still. Now I centered the USPS dropbox in the center and took the photo at iso 200, f 8, and a shutter speed of 1/320 seconds. This lead to an .3 stops of exposure. For the editing process I brang down the exposure slightly and increased the contrast. After that I selected a preset which really changed thecolors up. It muted the photo and made it alot more brownish. With that quick edit I ended up with this photo.

Today was a pretty short editing process. If you have any questions on the process or questions on what I am using let me know below. I will see you all tommorrow with another photo.
