How are you all doing today? I am doing pretty well. The most interesting part has been that I was able to print some of the photos I have taken over the past few years. Now today I bring a photo of a cherry blossom tree which I took when I had rented out the Olympus O-MD em-10 m ii. A very long name for sure. When I took this photo I framed it so that the blossoms in focus will appear in the middle of a thocket of other blossoms. Now lets get to the editing portion of the blog.
For todays photo I took it to pixelmator photo. The first changed the temperature of the photo to be warmer. Right from the camera the photo felt to cold and blue and it just does not fit the nature of the Cherry blossoms. Now I raised the exposure, shadows, brightness and contrast to make it more bright and lively. The only area which I did decrease was the highlights so that I would avoid the clipping of the photo. I added a bit of saturation and modified some of the color channels to add more red and get rid of the blue sky. Overall I enjoyed taking the time to edit this photo and I hope you enjoy these photos too.
