How have you all been doing? We are a week into April and I have been hit by the amount of tasks I have in front of me. Purpose statments, letter of recomendations, and hours are all things I am consolidating to apply for higher education. In a way stressful but at least I have photography. Today we have another photo of flower. This one was taken once again on Tech’s campus. This is really due to the fact that I have been spending most of my day on campus and commuting home in the evening. Aside from that lets get into the editing details. I started by opening the file in Rawtherapee. From there I changed the exposure compensation to be -0.63 steps down and after that I increased the shadows in the photo. The photo was orginally alot brighter and I usually tend to make them darker. From there I go and add my film lut. For todays photo I used the Fuji Superia X-tra 800. The application of the lut caused the photo to turn slightly red but not enough. In a way it adds warmth and a form of vibrance which looked pretty unique to me. With that I exported it and there it sat in my files till until it made an appereance on this website.
