Today was a pretty busy day for me. Which left me with little time for this post but I shall not forget. For if I do the whole challenge goes to waste in my eyes. So back to the photo I am bringing an image which I took a few days back. In this photo I am across the street and looking at a corner of Scheller. Now when you see the image you notice it is very low which leads to the sky taking a smaller portion of the total image. Another reason why the photo was taken so low in line with the street was to take advantage of the puddles in the ground. In this case it is harder to see anything substantial in the water aside from the glass of the Koda building and a bit of scheller. In this photo I also ran it through Rawtherapee and gave it the Kodak Tri-X 400 film look. In the future this may bee the film type I go with for black and white photos as I enjoy the light but not strong contrast while in addition keeping many parts stil in detail.

Now I want to post another picture that is pretty similar. So here is the first post of the 365 day challenge where I posted 2 pictures. This is in the same location however I actually used my wide angle lens to get more of the scenery. In this case the use of the puddle and the reflection is better shown as I got the full reflection and actually the entirety of the koda building. In this photo I made minor adjustments to the lighting and shadows and applied the Fuji Velvia 100 preset. I enjoyed the bump in color with out blowing out the reds and the greens. As a color film it is something that I have been enjoying I will have to see how it looks with skin tones.

Thanks for reading todays post. I hope to see you guys tomorrow.
